High-voltage outdoor switching stations, also known as 10kV outdoor switching stations or 10kV switch stations. They are used for switching and are places for distributing 10kV electrical energy. They serve as a link between the distribution power supply (110kV or 35kV substations) and the distribution network (10kV ring network), extending the 10kV bus of the distribution power supply and increasing the number of distribution power sources. The application of switching stations solves the problems of insufficient outgoing lines from 110kV and 35kV substations and limited outgoing corridors, reduces the number of cables along the same path, saves investment, and makes the urban distribution network more flexible.Reliable, thus optimizing the structure of the distribution network.
High-voltage outdoor switching stations can be equipped with different high-voltage switch cabinets according to different customer requirements, serving as 10kV distribution systems. The distribution power supply. For the distribution power supply.

- The casing material is made of surface spray-coated aluminum-zinc steel plate or stainless steel plate, with a thickness of no less than 2mm, providing strong corrosion resistance.
- The casing has an IP4X protection level and good rain resistance.
- The top cover has an air-layer double-layer structure and is equipped with ventilation openings: the air intake is located on the surface panel of the casing and has a removable dust filter; the air outlet is located at the top of the casing and is hidden under the eaves; this creates an upward air convection, giving the casing good thermal insulation and ventilation effects; the top cover has a drainage slope of 3 degrees.
- The casing has a sealed floor for cable entry, preventing moisture from the cable trench from entering the casing.
