Beijing Qingchang Electric, formerly known as Beijing Qingchang Technology, was established in 1999. In 2005, it absorbed and merged with Qingchang Technology Company to form Beijing Qingchang Huaneng Company, and in 2009, it underwent a shareholding reform, changing its name to Beijing Qingchang Electric Technology Co., Ltd. The company was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange's third board in July 2009, with stock code: 430057. It is a national high-tech enterprise and a technology center in Beijing, recognized as a qualified supplier with a "National Grid Certificate."
The company is dedicated to the research and development of product technology and intelligent manufacturing in the medium voltage distribution and new energy fields. Its main products include cable branch boxes, SF6 ring network cabinets, solid insulated ring network cabinets, environmentally friendly gas ring network cabinets, box-type switching stations, box-type substations, pole-mounted switches, low-voltage distribution boxes, outdoor switching stations, distribution automation series products (such as DTU, etc.), and new energy charging systems. The company is headquartered in the Shangdi Information Industry Base of the Zhongguancun High-tech Enterprise Park in Haidian District, Beijing, and has a modern intelligent manufacturing production base in the Huairou Yanqi Lake Industrial Park.
The company is a master's degree experimental base of the domestic power engineering institution—North China Electric Power University, and has invited a group of experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Electric Power Research Institute, North China Electric Power University, and Western High Institute as members of the advisory group to oversee the company's research and development direction and decision-making. The company's products have obtained multiple invention patents, and the core components of the products, such as SF6 load switches, circuit breakers, operating mechanisms, and vacuum-sealed insulated switches, are all produced independently. The company's solid vacuum insulated switch products have been listed by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment as "National Key Pollution Prevention and Control Demonstration Technology," and the environmentally friendly gas insulated ring network cabinet has been jointly recognized by six departments in Beijing as "New Technology, New Products."
The company is technology-oriented, focusing on product quality, with an international full industrial chain production model. It possesses international intelligent production and testing equipment, with major equipment sourced from Japan, Germany, Sweden, and the United States. Additionally, the company has established high-voltage electrical laboratories for material analysis, EMC electromagnetic compatibility, high-voltage electrical temperature rise, partial discharge, etc., with advanced testing methods that rank among the top in the industry.
