The ring network refers to a ring-shaped distribution network, where the power supply trunk forms a closed loop, supplying power to this ring trunk, which then distributes power outward through high-voltage switches. The advantage of this is that each distribution branch can draw power from both its left and right trunk lines. When the left trunk line fails, it continues to receive power from the right trunk line, and when the right trunk line fails, it continues to receive power from the left trunk line. Thus, although the total power supply is single-route, each distribution branch benefits from a dual-route power supply, thereby improving the reliability of power supply. The relationship between the high-voltage ring network cabinet and the box transformer is that the box transformer can be one of the terminals of the high-voltage ring network cabinet. The high-voltage ring network cabinet integrates several incoming lines into a ring network, achieving dual or multiple incoming lines. The ring network cabinets independently developed and produced by Qingchang Electric Power are divided into three types based on insulation methods:
- Environmentally friendly gas-insulated ring network cabinet
- SF6 gas-insulated ring network cabinet
- Solid insulated ring network cabinet
Depending on the different insulation methods, various models of ring network cabinets have different advantages. Users can choose products based on environmental conditions and project requirements.
