As of July 11, 2014, among the 140 listed companies in the power equipment new energy industry, 69 have disclosed their performance forecasts for the first half of 2014. Among them, 47 companies have shown year-on-year growth, accounting for 68%. There are 4 companies that have turned losses into profits year-on-year, and 6 companies are expected to incur losses. The number of companies with year-on-year growth in the range of 0-30% is the highest, with 21 companies, accounting for 30% of the currently disclosed figures. Beijing Electric Science Institute successfully completed the battery sampling work for the first half of the year.
According to the actual requirements of electric vehicle operation in Beijing, in April of this year, the State Grid Beijing Electric Power Research Institute initiated a seasonal sampling inspection of multiple groups of lithium iron phosphate batteries from Pride Company. In accordance with the requirements of the electric vehicle company, the subjects of this sampling inspection are the batteries for Pride Company's sanitation vehicles and passenger cars, specifically the 2T sanitation vehicle, Hyundai Elantra, BAIC C30, and Changan C302. Among them, the 2T sanitation vehicle uses a two-box battery for battery swapping, while the other three sets are charging-type batteries for passenger cars. This work is coordinated by the electric vehicle company, and the Power Supply Center of the Electric Power Research Institute has developed a detailed battery sampling inspection plan based on the actual operating conditions of the batteries.
The Mupo Hydropower Station developed and invested by China Electric Power Construction is connected to the grid for power generation.
The No. 1 and No. 2 units of the Mupo Hydropower Station in the Xiaojinchuan River Basin, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, developed and invested by China Electric Power Construction Group Sichuan Company, have officially connected to the grid and started commercial operation. The completion and commissioning of this power station play an important role in promoting economic development in national-level minority poverty-stricken areas after disaster reconstruction and alleviating the regional power supply and demand contradiction. The Mupo Hydropower Station is the third level of the "one reservoir and five levels" plan for the main stream of the Fubian River in Aba Prefecture and is a key hydropower development and construction project in Aba Prefecture. The hydropower station is developed in a mixed manner, with a water diversion tunnel length of 10.074 kilometers. The designed annual power generation of the hydropower station is 191 million kilowatt-hours, with an installed capacity of 3 units.
