Beijing Electric Science Institute successfully completed the battery sampling work for the first half of the year.
According to the actual requirements of electric vehicle operation in Beijing, in April this year, the State Grid Beijing Electric Power Research Institute launched a seasonal sampling inspection of multiple groups of lithium iron phosphate batteries from Pride Company.
In accordance with the requirements of the electric vehicle company, the subjects of this sampling inspection are the sanitation and passenger vehicle batteries from Pride Company, with models including the 2T sanitation vehicle, Hyundai Elantra, BAIC C30, and Changan C302. Among them, the 2T sanitation vehicle uses a two-box battery swap type, while the other three sets are passenger vehicle charging type batteries.
This work is coordinated by the electric vehicle company for the sampled battery groups. The Power Supply Center of the Electric Power Research Institute has developed a detailed battery sampling test plan based on the actual operating conditions of the batteries, relying on the center's electric vehicle laboratory to conduct standardized testing on the samples. The battery sampling work mainly focused on May, and after the testing was completed by the Power Technology Center of the Electric Power Research Institute, the samples were sent to Pride Company for re-inspection. On July 14, the testing work was fully completed, and the testing results report was submitted to the electric vehicle company, successfully completing the battery sampling work for the first half of 2014.
