What is a 35kV gas-insulated switchgear, and how does it differ from other gas-insulated switchgears?
The 35kV gas-insulated switchgear from Qingchang Electric Power is the QLG series 40.5kV ring main unit. This type of gas-insulated switchgear is independently developed and produced by us, featuring a fully insulated and fully enclosed structure, which effectively prevents flooding and pollution, making it suitable for various harsh environments while ensuring reliable operation and the safety of operators. The 35kV gas-insulated switchgear uses SF6 gas as the insulating medium, and its compact design, excellent insulation performance, and miniaturization guarantee a wide range of application scenarios, while reducing maintenance work and lowering actual operating costs.
Currently, the main voltage levels of ring main units can be divided into 12kV, 24kV, and 40.5kV (i.e., 35kV), and the Qingchang Electric Power product series covers all three voltage levels. Different ring main units also vary in size. The dimensions (mm) of a single unit of the 35kV gas-insulated switchgear are 430 in width, 2135 in height, and 920 in depth, while the 12kV and 24kV units measure 700, 1500, and 770 respectively. Therefore, the 35kV gas-insulated switchgear occupies a smaller footprint, making it suitable for projects with space constraints.
